The CEO of Nextwave hires Brandon to test the security of their exciting new product, the Brainset, which allows users to communicate directly with the internet through a web of sensors installed directly on their brains. Brandon discovers that the company's beautiful and bitchy VP of Marketing, Hannah, has secretly installed her own Brainset. Hannah is livid when Brandon decides to conduct his security tests on her rather than on the five official testers, but she quickly discovers that she is powerless to stop him. Volumes and types of all kinds of electronically available data have increased dramatically in recent years as a result of the Internet being primary means of communication and collaboration among people of various educational background and diversity. Current search engines do not reach most of these information sources on the Internet. Although, search engines access static URL links easily, because of the decentralized nature of the Internet, we face a chaotic repository of all types of information. Therefore, it is becoming more and more difficult to locate resources of interest in the web. In response to user s queries, information discovery tools such as search engines produce a list which, sometimes, includes some unnecessary documents, and occasionally may leave out necessary and important ones for a querying user. In this thesis, we design a model for web information discovery tools. Users and documents are defined in five aspects by metadata. Conceptual relations are set between user and documents. While searching a list of results was obtained by using the relationship between users and documents. This result list was ranked by using PageRank algorithm.
The World Wide Web, a major information publishing and retrieving mechanism, is one of many applications that run over the Internet. The Web is a huge repository of information in the form text, image, audio, and video. Search engines, such as Google, Yahoo!, etc, are the first port of call for the discovery of resources from this huge repository. These general purpose search engines are designed and optimized for English language. They fell short when they are used for locating resources of interest of other languages on the Web. This is mainly due to the specific features of the language that are not considered by those search engines. Amharic, which is a family of Semitic languages, is the official language of the federal government of Ethiopia. Currently, there is significant number of Amharic documents on the Web. These documents need a search tool that considers the typical characteristics of the language. This book tries to design and implement a complete language specific search engine for Amharic web documents. It explores different topics pertinent to the area of language specific search engines.

The popular term denotes a situation in which one or more of these key properties reaches a point at which traditional methods for geodata collection, storage, processing, control, analysis, modelling, validation and visualisation fail to provide effective solutions. >Entering the era of big spatial data calls for finding solutions that address all "small data" issues that soon create "big data" troubles. Resilience for big spatial data means solving the heterogeneity of spatial data sources (in topics, purpose, completeness, guarantee, licensing, coverage etc.), large volumes (from gigabytes to terabytes and more), undue complexity of geo-applications and systems (i.e. combination of standalone applications with web services, mobile platforms and sensor networks), neglected automation of geodata preparation (i.e. harmonisation, fusion), insufficient control of geodata collection and distribution processes (i.e. scarcity and poor quality of metadata and metadata systems), limited analytical tool capacity (i.e. domination of traditional causal-driven analysis), low visual system performance, inefficient knowledge-discovery techniques (for transformation of vast amounts of information into tiny and essential outputs) and much more.
